Rick Sullivan Jr.
President
Rick Sullivan Jr. serves as President of the MNCBIA. He owns and operates Alliance Homes, Inc. a Bethesda based residential building and development company. He is a native Washingtonian who has been involved in the homebuilding and development business for more than 20 years. Mr. Sullivan has been an active member of the MNCBIA since 1994, chaired several committees including Montgomery County Liaison, Membership, PROS Awards, and Celebrity Chefs and on the Board of the Homebuilders Care Foundation.

James Kettler
Vice President/Calvert County
James Kettler serves as Vice President/Calvert County. Jim owns and operates Kettler Brothers Homes L.L.C., focused primarily on land development and new home construction throughout the D.C. metropolitan area. He is a Past President of MNCBIA and has been on various committees over many years as a Director of MNCBIA including the State Legislative Committee, Home Builders Care Foundation and as Chair of the East Coast Builders Conference and he currently serves as an Officer of New Start LC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Home Builders Care Foundation. He is also a member of the Frederick County Builders Association, Northern Virginia BIA and the DCBIA as well as the American Institute of Architects, and he serves as a board member of the Montgomery County Students Construction Trades Foundation. Mr. Kettler is a registered architect and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University

Gary Kret
Vice President/Charles County
Gary Kret serves as Vice President/Charles County. He is the President of Steuart Kret Development Company headquartered in White Plains, Maryland focusing on land acquisition, planned community participation and joint ventures with other homebuilders and developers. Mr. Kret earned a Bachelors Degree from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids MI and a Masters Degree from Yale University.

Frank Bossong IV
Vice President/Montgomery County
Frank Bossong IV PE serves as Vice President/Montgomery County. He is Senior Vice President and Director of Operations for Rodgers Consulting Inc., a land development consulting firm headquartered in Germantown, MD. He is a registered professional Engineer and Land Surveyor with over 29 years of industry experience. He has served on a number of county and association committees in Montgomery and Frederick Counties dealing with land use issues and prior to joining the BIA Executive Committee he served as Chair of the Development Review Colmmittee and the MNCPPC Ad Hoc Committee.

Tom Farasy
Vice President/Prince George's County
Tom Farasy serves as Vice President/Prince George's County. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of MCF Investment Company LLC, a major regional full service residential company located in Silver Spring, MD. Mr. Farasy has served on the MNCBIA Board of Directors since 2001 and served as Chair of the Multifamily Builders Council. He has also served on the Board of Victory Housing and Mother Dears' Community Center and was a member of the Affordable Dwelling Unit Task Force in Fairfax County, VA. Mr. Farasy graduated from St. Louis Universith with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Edward R. Curley, III (Guy)
Vice President/St. Mary's County
Edward E. Curley, III (Guy) serves as Vice President/St. Mary's County. He is the President of Liberty Homebuider, a residential construction and development firm located in downtown Great Mills, Maryland. He is also President of Raleigh Apartment Management Company. He is a member of the St. Mary's County Development Review Forum, the St. Mary's Economic Development Council and the St. Mary's Chamber of Commerce. He was an active MNCBIA Board member prior to being elected Vice-President.

AJ Jackson
Vice President/Washington DC
Brian (AJ) Jackson serves as Vice President for Washington DC. He is Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development with EYA LLC, a development and building firm headquartered in Bethesda, MD. Prior to joining EYA, Mr. Jackson served as Chief of Staff to the US General Services Administration, the single largest owner and operator of real estate assets in the United States. He was an active member of the Board of Directors and is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and the African American Real Estate Professionals Association.

Robert A Jacobs
Associate Vice President
Rob Jacobs serves as Associate Vice President He is Senior vice President for Acacia Federal Savings Bank where he manages the Residential Construction and Commercial Real Estate Lending Divisions for a five state area. He has been an active member of the MNCBIA Board of Directors for several years, serving as Chair of the Real Estate Finance Committee and co-Chair of Membership.

Bob Larkin
Treasurer
Bob Larkin serves as Treasurer. He has been involved in the local real estate industry for more than 20 years and participated in the acquisition of land and building of over 15,000 homes during his career with large national and local builders. He has been active in the MNCBIA for over 10 years and is active on several County Liaison Committees as well as past service as Chair of the Washington DC Liaison Committee, co-Chair of Membership and of the PROS Awards Committee. Mr. Larkin also serves on the Board of National Association of Home Builders.

Chas Stuart Jr
Secretary
Chas Stuart Jr. serves as Secretary and Chair of the State Legislative Committee. He is a principal of the Miller and Smith Companies, focused on new home construction and land development in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Mr. Stuart's responsibilities include the company's land, legal and human resources departments. His work with the association has included service on the Board of Directors, the State Government & Legislative Affairs Committee and the Montgomery Liaison Committee. He also serves as a director of the Home Builders Care Foundation.

John Clarke
Immediate Past President
John Clarke serves as Immediate Past President. He is Regional Partner/Vice President of Elm Street Development where he is currently responsible for acquisition and development of new communities in Montgomery, Prince George's, Frederick and Washington Counties in suburban Maryland. He served as President in 2007 and has chaired the Membership and Environmental Committees, and as Vice President for Montgomery County. He received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Illinois.

Life Director
David Weiss serves as Life Director to the Executive Committee. He is President of Design Tech Builders, a development and building firm headquartered in Silver Spring, MD and has been actively involved in the industry and the Association since 1975 serving on the Board of Directors and numerous committees.

Stephen P. Elmendorf
Legal Counsel
Stephen P. Elmendorf serves as Legal Counsel to the MNCBIA and is an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee. He is a Partner with the Land Use/Administrative law Practice Group in the law firm of Linowes and Blocher LLP with offices in Silver Spring, Greenbelt, Annapolis, Frederick, Columbia and Washington DC. He is a member of Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and a former President of the Rockville Chamber of Commerce. In addition to serving on the Executive Committee of MNCBIA, Mr. Elmendorf serves on the Montgomery Liaison Committee and is legal counsel to DGG/MC. He received his undergraduate degree in government from Georgetown University and his law degree from George Washington University.

Susan J. Matlick, CAE
Executive Vice President
Susan J. Matlick, CAE has served as Executive Vice President of the MNCBIA since 1975. She was the 1987 recipient of the MNCBIA Milton Kettler Award for outstanding contributions to the association, industry and community and is also the 1987 recipient of the NAHB Executive Officers Council Seldon Hale Award for outstanding management achievement. She serves on the Board of the Prince George's Foundation for Automotive and Construction Technical Skills, is a 1988 graduate of Leadership Washington,and served on the Executive committee of Leadership Montgomery. She served as 2002 President of the NAHB Executive Officers Council and continues to be actively involved in NAHB EOC programs and activities.
